George Tinari

George Tinari

Hi! I’m George. My most recent role was lead digital designer and web manager for Yale University.

My biggest passions are technology and design, and in particular the way both of them intertwine with daily modern culture. I’ve dedicated his entire career to thinking, crafting, and delivering impactful content and solutions from that intersection.

On the design front, I’ve worked on projects including full websites and rebrands, graphics, videos, app concepts, and documents for Yale University, CRN International and multiple in-house podcasts under Collisions Media, NorthShore Studios, Focus Sales, LLC, and I’ve done client work for M&M, Listerine, Neutrogena, Big Bear, CH Robinson, and several other nationally recognized brands.

On the writing front, I’ve written tech news, reviews, and op-eds for TUAW (now Engadget), Cult of Mac, MakeUseOf, iPhoneHacks, Guiding Tech and several others garnering tens of millions of page views. I also have years of experience with UX writing as part of my design work. I continue to write personally on Medium whenever inspiration strikes, usually about Apple or online culture.

On the personal front, I love to sing, and I frequently post my covers online. It doesn’t take long into a conversation with me to hear some tangent about how Mariah Carey is the greatest thing to ever happen to the music industry. I’m also a big fan of a good meal and a good cocktail to pair, and I was voted most likely to host my own late night talk show in high school. So far that hasn’t panned out, but I do like talking up a storm and making people laugh.

But enough about me. I’d love to get to know you, so please feel free to reach out.
